A physiotherapist who specializes in running injuries and performance. My goal is to help you improve your strength, to reduce your risk of injuries whilst enhancing your performance. Not only that, I also want to help you understand more about the basic principles of training so you can keep your training sustainable.
Aidan was recommended to me after I’d been struggling with a lingering hamstring issue for a few months. He was the first physio I worked with who not only focused on treating my injury but also looked towards developing a strength programme to improve my performance and prevent future injuries. In the few months since our first session, I am fitter and faster than ever before and look forward to working with Aidan on an ongoing basis in the future.
I was recommended Aidan through my running club as I picked up a niggle 4 months before the London marathon which stopped me running for a few weeks. I was desperate to find a way to still run London and Aidan worked with me to rehab my leg injury and then build the miles back up slowly. I found Aidan was extremely knowledgeable and it meant I found it a lot easier to buy into the exercises and sessions which ultimately enabled me to strengthen my leg enough that I could not just run London but race it. I wholeheartedly recommend Aidan and without a doubt would work with him again.
I went to see Aidan about 2 months out from my debut marathon with an injury I thought would see me have to pull out. Over the course of 8 weeks I received uniquely personable, realistic and expert advice on treating “medial tibial stress syndrome”. Week on week, Aidan came prepared for the session with the latest research on my issue to give the best possible treatment, and gave me the ‘toolkit’ to understand my biomechanics and prevent a reoccurrence further down the road. I crossed the finish line stronger, faster and better than I could have imagined and Aidan played a huge part. London running scene, if you are looking for a physio… look no further.
I started working with Aidan in the build up to the Olympic Games and I now see him on a weekly basis. He is a crucial part of my team! Aidan is excellent – he is supportive and full of knowledge (always showing me the latest research!), so I have complete confidence in the advice he gives me.
