I am A physiotherapist SPECIALIsING IN RUNNING INJURIES AND PERFORMANCE
I completed a higher certificate in sports and exercise physiology in Carlow IT back in 2013 and graduated with a BSc (hons) degree at The University of Brighton in 2015.I am currently studying a part time MSc in Sports and Exercise medicine.
Having previously played professional football back in Ireland from the age of 17-20 and sustaining multiple ACL injuries. This gave me a great insight to the challenges injuries can have both physically and mentally. It was from that point I knew I wanted to help others overcome injuries and fulfill their potential. I have worked in the NHS for a number of years gaining experience before going on to work with professional rugby clubs and also in private practice.
Over the past number of years I have fallen in love with running and triathlon. I have spent a significant amount of time delving into the research on running injuries and performance in order to provide the best care to my athletes. I have worked with a large number of elite runners and triathletes as well as recreational athletes.
As someone who regularly runs I know how frustrating it can be to not be able to do the thing you love. My goal is to help you progress through your journey, help you get out of pain, reduce your risk of further injury and get back to doing what it is you love to do.
